He Doesn't Know the Meaning of the Word Fear
I just finished reading Matthew Cooper's article "Bush's Long Hot Summer" in Time Online Edition and was struck by a quote from Mark McKinnon, Bush's media advisor.
One of the things that's real consistent about this President is that he doesn't spook.
It reminded me of saying,
He doesn't know the meaning of the word "fear" - but then again he doesn't know the meaning of most words.
I think this slam is a contraction from something Florida State head coach Bobby Bowden is reported to have said about linebacker Reggie Herring,
He doesn't know the meaning of the word "fear." In fact, I just saw his grades and he doesn't know the meaning of a lot of words.
