Some Loot, Others Find, While Others Think Katrina Can Teach Us About Hilary Clinton
This has been all over the blogosphere, but for those who haven't heard anything about it read these two captions from Yahoo Photos and try to guess which picture is of white folks and which is of black folks. It shouldn't be to hard.

Disasters like Katrina tend to bring out the best in people as they struggle together to salvage whatever they can of their lives. Unfortunately, often disasters also bring out the worse in us.
And if racism isn't your thing, how about sexism, Kate O'Brian posted this on The Corner.
I haven't been watching as much Katrina coverage as many of my colleagues and our readers because I am working on an article about Hillary Clinton, but the criticisms of Governor Blanco and unfavorable comparisons with Governor Barbour may be relevant to my subject. I have seen a clearly overwhelmed Gov. Blanco's ineffectual handwringing and saw her dismissive quotes about looting while Rich spotted Haley vowing to deal with looters "ruthlessly." If others share the Corner's take on the comparative leadership qualities of these governors, shouldn't Hillary Clinton's boosters be dismayed at the latest example of why voters might be leery of women chief executives?
Yes, woman can be sexists too.
And then Eve's Apple tells of an email from Columbia Christians for Life that says Katrina was all about God's wrath against Abortion Clinic's in New Orleans.
Oh, yes, not to be outdone, Repent America thinks the disaster was due to, you guessed it, gays and Mardi Gras parties.
