Teaching What Everyone Should Already Know
There has been some belly aching here and there on the web about Bush's decision to have his staff take ethics training. Remember, he is our first MBA President and this is exactly the kind of reaction that is very common when a business is caught with its hand in the cookie jar. They set up classes to teach the staff what any reasonable person who is fully grown already knows and then they give those who couldn't figure it out on their own a bonus. This is exactly what you get any time you try to run government like a business.
