Castorocauda lutrasimilis the Jurassic "Beaver"
Until now, Jurassic mammals have been thought of as small. But, at about a foot long, this new fossil discovery is a whopper, at least by Jurassic mammal standards.
PZ Myers has a good report, with pictures, over at Pharyngula. He notes that Castorocauda lutrasimilis likely looked and behaved something like a modern platypus.

Hi, Thanks. I like your blog also. I just added your site to my RSS reader and will add it to my blog roll in the near future. The blog roll needs considerable work and I prefer to work on the batch basis rather than one item at a time.
