Happy Birthday - Abnormal Interests

Today is Abnormal Interests official birthday. While there was some experimentation and a few administrative posts in the days before February 16, 2005, that was the day that I told the world, or at least a subset of the world, that I had these abnormal interests and planned to post on them.

This is the 545th post. There have been some changes that I've noticed over the year. My posts on Paleoanthropology are not quite as frequent as they once were and my posts on Ugaritic have increased in frequency. It's not that I am any less interested in Paleoanthropology but my own study habits tend to move in rather large cycles between my various interests and for now Ugaritic is near the top of the list.

I thank those of you who take time to visit this little corner of the blogdom for your abnormal interests.
