The Correspondence of a Queen: A Message to the Queen

1) To the queen, my lady
2) a message of the governor, your servant

4) Let there be peace to my lady.

8) with my lady?
9) Return word
10) to her servant.

12) dd-measures of barley
13) and five dd-measures of
14) GDL (large ??) and five
15) dd-measures of N‛R.
16) A kd-measure of myrth oil.
17) A kd-measure of lamp oil.
18) A kd-measure of vinegar
19) A kd-measure of olive MM (oil of MM?)
20) which provisions for my lady
21) everything I have delivered.

To my lady, the queen, a message from the governor, your servant:

At the feet of my lady I bow. I hope my lady is well.

Now here in the house of the king all is well. How are things going with you? Please let you servant know.

Here are the twenty dd-measures of barley,
Five dd-measures of GDL (large ??),
Five dd-measures of N‛R,
A kd-measure of myrth oil,
A kd-measure of lamp oil,
A kd-measure of vinegar,
A kd-measure of olive MM (oil of MM?),
I have delivered all the provisions that my lady requested.

This letter has more the nature of a bill of lading for provisions which the queen requested.
