One Picture Tells a Thousand Lies
What is with these politicians? Kimberly Williamson Butler is running for mayor of New Orleans and so she has a nice picture of herself in the French Quarter on the top banner of her website. There is just one small problem. This is the French Quarter at Disneyland!

This picture is from the Register. I have circled a trashcan in red. If you go to her website, you will see that this trashcan has been removed from the current version of the picture. Why? Because it has the Disneyland logo on it. Just how hard would it be for her to get her picture taken in the real French Quarter?
The Register article has a picture of Disneyland's French Quarter with a larger perspective with the area covered by Butler's picture clearly delineated.
You'll remember that House of Representatives candidate Howard Kaloogian used a picture of Bakirkoy in Turkey to portray how peaceful it really was in Bagdad(!) and how the press just wasn't telling the truth about it. Thankfully, he didn't make the cut.

I wouldn't vote for her if I lived in New Orleans.
