This is Not the Answer

President Bush on Tuesday ordered a temporary suspension of environmental rules for gasoline, making it easier for refiners to meet demand and possibly dampen prices at the pump. [AP report via 1010 News]

The next thing we will hear is that the "temporary suspension" should be made permanent.

He also wants the "oil companies to invest in new refineries". Isn't it about time they started investing in alternative energy sources instead?
