Biblical Studies Blog Carnival VII
Biblical Studies Blog Carnival VII is up at Daily Hebrew. Check it out. Lots of interesting stuff this month. In many ways this collection of posts is the most diversified and, in my way of thinking, the most uneven in quality. But those are themselves good reasons to take a long look.
I do want to comment on one of the posts that I had not taken the opportunity to read when it was first published. Claude Mariottini takes on Stephen Hanchett's mistaken use of Biblical texts to show that President Bush is the "Antichrist." While I am no fan of the President and agree with Hachett that the President is doing great evil regardless of his intentions which I don't think are that good either, Mariottini is correct in criticizing Hackett's misuse of the Bible. Simply put, while I strongly disagree with Mariottini with regard to President Bush, I also strongly agree with him in regard to Hachett.
