It Looks Like I Need to Get Back to School, Scribal School That Is
The November issue of the Bulletin of the American Schools of Oriental Research is at last out. So off to the library tomorrow. See Jim West's post for the Table of Contents. With the material by Ron E. Tappy, P. Kyle McCarter, Jr., Marilyn Lundberg, and Bruce Zuckerman and the other three articles, I will need to return to my series on scribal schools. The one by Christopher Rollston, called “Scribal Education in Ancient Israel: The Old Hebrew Epigraphic Evidence” sounds particularly interesting.
