Translations of Akkadian Cuneiform Texts Online

And now there is eTACT, "electronic Translations of Akkadian Cuneiform Texts." Currently there are only sixteen texts available but because of eTACT's semi-open nature, that number will quickly grow. I plan to check back often.

Among the most interesting translations now online are "Gilgamesh and the Tavern-Keeper" and "Yahdun-Lim of Mari's Disc Inscription" but some of my abnormal readers might think "Where has my lover gone?" should be in my top two picks.

Thanks to Airton José da Silva at Observatório Bíblico for pointing put this new ETANA project. Cornelia Wunsch is eTACT's editor and Jack M. Sasson helped launch the project.
