Merlo on Asherah, Yahweh and Kuntillet 'Ajurd
Paolo Merlo's 1994 work L‘Asherah di Yhwh a Kuntillet ‘Ajrud Rassegna critica degli studi e delle interpretazioni is now available online. This work provides a good opportunity to review scholarly opinion on Asherah, Yahweh and Kuntillet 'Ajurd up to 1994 and to practice Italian at the same time.
And if you're not so interested in working on Italian, his electronic prepublication article for Iconography of Deities and Demons in the Ancient Near East on Asherah is also available online.
Update: corrected "option" to read "opinion." Thanks to Jim West for being my intention checker.

You spilled Merlot on a Kuntillet ‘ajrud pithos? What? That's what you get for taking stuff home from your digs instead of putting them in the museum like a good boy.
