Psalm 68 Biblical Studies Carnival XXII is Up
Tim Bulkeley at SansBlogue has posted Biblical Studies Carnival XXII. Tim has done a great job bring together a large array of posts on things academic and biblical. One important feature that he added this month is a collection of posts and blogs in languages other than English. Most of us who study these ancient literatures can read French and German with varying degrees of proficiency. And while some know several other modern languages well, most native English speakers use whatever knowledge of French and German we may have to delude ourselves occasionally into thinking we can make sense of books and papers written on other European languages. But, I'll bet most English speaking bloggers will find the posts by Little Ho a bit of a stretch.
Get over to Tim's place and find your favorite post, English of otherwise.
Great job, Tim!

Thanks! Now, having hosted a carnival, I have a livelier appreciation of all the previous ones! It's not as easy as it looks ;-)

But Duane, it is in fact related to biblical studies - because it makes reference to a New Testament text. Indeed, it illustrates one!
So there.

Tim,
Yeah, it is more difficult than it looks but I found it fun at the same time.
Jim,
???? I bet you were thinking of this link rather than the one I actually used in the post.
So there.

可能, 但是... 我们都该学习啦! :) Dare I say it... but I think American English speakers will have the toughest time of all considering that they can't even conceive of their anthem sung in Spanish. :P

謝謝您的評論。Babel Fish tells me that this means "thank you for your comments." I don't read Chinese even though I spend a good deal of my time hanging out with Chinese engineer's. One of them was kind enough to translate the Chinese portion of Glen's comments and Looney's comment for me. According to my friend, Glen's Chinese says, "Maybe, but we should all learn it" and Looney's Chinese says, "I also feel that Chinese is very hard to learn". I agree with both of these comments. But life is short and there are so many languages yet to learn.
Why did I use Babel Fish, rather than ask my friend to translate from English to Chinese. I'll tell you, I'm not sure.
