Biblical Studies Carnival XXIII is Up
John Hobbins has published Biblical Studies Carnival XXIII at Ancient Hebrew Poetry. This month's carnival departs in some ways from previous efforts. John provides a running commentary on biblioblogging and actively seeks to reach out beyond the usual "canon" of bibliobloggers. In fact, his supplemental post and his virtual "Map of the World of Bible Bloggers" demonstrate the extent of his considerable reach. I am particularly pleased with his efforts to included non-Christians and atheists. That they stand "outside the ‘hermeneutical circle’" is a good thing.
Good job John. Thanks.

Thanks, Duane, for not stepping into the circle of which Jim West speaks.
The circle is too tight. Perhaps it will widen someday - not by our doing, probably - and you will be at home within it.
