A Couple of Blogs of Interest ("and More")

Ancient World Bloggers Group is a new meta-blog. This group blog has the following mission:

A space where we can communicate notices of real world bloggers meetings; a space to arrange and coordinate themed blogfests; a space to review the current state of ancient world blogging; a space to meet as yet unthought of needs.

It should be abnormally interesting.

Not quite so new but still interesting is Mediterranean Ceramics. Sebastian Heath subtitles his blog "Items of interest in the study and publication of ceramics from the Mediterranean world."

Also, while it is a little out of my own range of abnormal interests, Alun Salt of Clioaudio reports, "The first fifty (50) issues of Medieval Archaeology are available for free online." There's a whole world of great stuff in this journal. One paper I found of particular interest was "The Relationship between History and Archaeology: Elements of the Present Debate" by Stanisław Tabaczyński. Does the title ring any bells among the bibliobloggers? This paper is fifteen years old but still relevant.
