Top Ten Discoveries of 2007

Afarensis directs us to Archaeology Magazine's top ten (or is it top nineteen) discoveries of 2007. The Nebo-Sarsekim Cuneiform Tablet is second on the list. But it wasn't really discovered in 2007. Only what it said was revealed this year. The urbanization at Tell Brak in Syria is sixth on the list. In fact, three discoveries in Syria made the top nineteen.

Afarensis jokes that he is disappointed that Bosnian pyramid was not on the list. "Nor," he notes, "were any of the numerous discoveries of Noah's Ark. Or the tomb of Jesus."

What would you add or subtract?
