My Predictions for 2008

Apparently, God has made a prediction for 2008 but his prophet won't tell what it is. Well now that the year is a few days old and I have had a change to get a feel for it, to align my thoughts with its cosmic impulse as it were, I am ready to give my predictions for 2008. They may not be a good as God's but I'm willing to commit them public scrutiny.

  1. There will not be a massive attack on an American city killing many thousands, perhaps millions, of people. It's not that I think this impossible, just not next year.
  2. California will not fall into the sea. I have made this prediction for many years and it is never wrong.
  3. There will not be a major volcanic eruption that covers large urban areas anywhere in the world.
  4. Forest fires in California will destroy one or more homes.
  5. A hurricane will strike Florida causing damaging property.
  6. The earth and the moon will remain in orbit.
  7. Glaciers will continue to melt at higher than historic rates.
  8. The second coming of Jesus Christ will not happen.
  9. No universal cure for cancer will be found.
  10. The people of the United States will elect a rational moral honest Democrat as President.

All but the last one are identical to my 2007 predictions. After all, I did quite well with those predictions. What I can't understand is why the main stream media never asks me what I predict.

You've got to live dangerously once in a while.
