Proto-Semitic Language and Culture
If you haven't seen John Huehnergard's "Proto-Semitic Language and Culture" entry in The American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language it is now online. Be sure to checkout the charts and the guide to Semitic roots. Be sure to click on the roots for definitions and cognates.

Yes, personally I've known about this site for years. I wish though that it wasn't merely a list of roots that have found their way somehow into English vocabulary, but rather an online resource in its own rite that represents Proto-Semitic for its own sake. Oh well, there's always room for improvement, I guess.
