Why Bother Answering Silly Questions?
- Unfortunately, not everyone thinks they're silly.
- Someone new to the issue might think they're meaningful.
- Some silly questions have dangerous implications.
- They're easy to answer.
For anyone who thinks it silly to answer silly questions

"Ask a silly question; receive a silly answer" like most time-worn adages is concise and to the point. Nothing of abnormal interest in this subject that I can see.
Now, please do not conflate silly with stupid. There is no such thing as a stupid question; it is "stupid" questions that can be dangerous.

Just so we're clear, it wasn't I who said the question was silly but Heard. Your beef is with him rather than me. I was defending you and Drew for responding to the query. Again, just so we're clear (before someone who delights in twisting things decides to twist this too).
