The Memeology Meme

I ran across this at Aydin Örstan's Snails Tales who I saw it at Katzmeow who got it from . . . . Well, you get the idea.

TECHNOLOGY

What is the wallpaper on your computer?
Just a light blue background. I used a picture of an Ugaritic tablet for a while but it became a bit of a distraction.

How many televisions do you have in your house?
2. One in the family room and one in a "guest room." ." The one in the guest room is turned on five or six times a year. One of those times is for testing. The one in the family room gets about two hours of use an evening. If the Lakers are playing or if it's one of those years when I become interested in football, it gets more use.

BIOLOGY

Are you right handed or left handed?
Right

Have you ever had anything removed from your body?
Tonsils and adenoids when I was very young.

What is the last heavy item you lifted?
Our old television. We recently replaced the old one in the family room with a new flat screen TV. The old one was much heaver than the new one.

Have you ever been knocked out?
I assume I was when my tonsils and adenoids were removed and once I ran into very solid tree branch that knocked me out for a while. I'm not sure how long I was out.

BULLSHITOLOGY

If it were possible, would you want to know the day you were going to die?
In general, no. But it sure would help with financial planning during retirement.

If you could change your name, what would you change it to?
While I'm not altogether fond of my name, I've never been able to come up with a better one.

What color do you think looks best on you?
Blue, about half of the things I regularly wear are blue.

Have you ever swallowed a non-food item?
Yes, several bugs while bicycling and good deal of dirt while excavating. But I can't remember a time I did it on purpose. I've also eaten small octopi and fish that were still more of less alive but they were food items or so I was told.

DAREOLOGY

Would you kiss a member of the same sex for $100?
Sure.

Would you allow one of your little fingers to be cut off for $200,000?
I agree with Aydin on this, "If I were really desperate, perhaps I would, but I don't think I would ever be that desperate."

Would you never blog again for $50,000?
This seems like a good place to start the bidding. While I enjoy blogging, I do have my price. Any bidders?

Would you drink an entire bottle of hot sauce for $1,000?
How hot and how long to I get to do it?

Would you, without fear of punishment, take a human life for a million dollars?
I've been sorely tempted to do it for free on more than one occasion. I just never got around to it and money was never an issue. I doubt that money would ever an issue.

DUMBOLOGY

What is in your left pocket?
Nothing, I take everything out of my pockets and place it on my chest of drawers whenever I come home.

Is Napoleon Dynamite actually a good movie?
I'm clueless

Do you have hardwood or carpet in your house?
Mostly carpet. We even have carpet in the bathroom off our bedroom. I sure don't want my delicate feet to be exposed to anything harder (or colder) than a properly padded carpet.

Do you sit or stand in the shower?
Stand. Although once and a while I sit to wash my delicate feet.

How many pairs of flip flops do you own?
None. I was never able to navigate with them on my delicate feet. I have a tendency trip and fall on my delicate behind or my delicate face.

LASTOLOGY

Last person who texted you?
I don't have texting enabled on my cell phone. This fact irritates some people including members of my family. Texting irritates me.

Last person who called you?
Some salesperson who wanted me to answer a bunch of questions before he would tell me what it was he was selling. All possible answers were none of his business. If he had something to sell me, he would have been much better off just telling me what it was.

Last person you hugged?
My wife, Shirley

FAVORITOLOGY

Number?
7, no rational reason.

Season?
Spring. When I was a kid I loved the Summer. I couldn't imagine a day that would be too hot. Well now, it seems that many summer days are too hot.

Color?
A range of shades of blue.

CURRENTOLOGY

Missing someone?
Not now.

Mood?
Fine.

Listening to?
Nothing, I can't listen, blog and think at the sometime.

Worrying about?
Nothing.

Wearing?
Gray shorts and a blue T-shirt

RANDOMOLOGY

First place you went this morning?
The Bathroom. But if the question means the first place I went after I got my act totally together, Shirley and I went on our morning walk. This one took us north about a mile and a half.

What can you not wait to do?
Finish this stupid project I imposed on myself.

Do you smile often?
Yes, some think too often.

Are you a friendly person?
Like Aydin, "Usually, but not always." It might be good to ask that sales person who just called and wouldn't tell me straight off what he was selling. He wouldn't even tell me when I asked.
