In general, I don't use this space to make fun of dear and much loved friends or to highlight my upcoming birthdays. But when opportunities coincide, who can resist. Last Thursday Shirley and I had lunch with several friends. Since my birthday is near, I received a birthday card from two of them. Here is a picture of the envelope and the inside of that card.
One of these two dear friends really, really, believes in recycling. I can't fault her for that. So all I need to do now is replace the Post-its and I have a great card to give to someone else.
Don't get me wrong, I love the card and the all sentiments it communicates. I even think it well chosen for me. Here's a picture of the front of the card.
I'm just not sure I can find another Plutonic friend for whom this card is appropriate.

When that recycling friend of yours gives you a present does that also come with a post-it note on it?
