In the very early morning of September 7, 1942, also Labor Day that year, my mother was herself in labor. I was born later that same morning.

You see, good things happen on September 7. September 7 is also Brazilian Independence Day (our 4th of July).

Lucky you. The year I was born, on Thursday November 28th, it was Thanksgiving Day. They've since got rid of the intercalary extra Thursday for plotting the holiday, so it will never coincide again; alas.

Hmmm! I'm not really sure what is going on. Some time ago I upgraded my publishing system and some good things happened and some not so good things happened. This may be one of the not so good things. I'll need to do a little experimentation and research. In the meantime, you might see if there is a telecomtally.com cookie in your cookie folder or in a telecomtally.com sub-folder. If there is, delete it. If there isn't, please let me know.
