On Teaching Theologians To Dance And Other Irritating Things
I started to write yet another post on ethics and theology but decided it wasn't worth my while or that of the theologians. For once, I decided to follow this excellent advice, “Stop trying to teach the theologians to dance. It’s a waste of time and it irritates the theologians.”
I'd rather waste my time trying to figure out the Qeiyafa inscription. The only thing I'm fairly sure of is that there are fewer problems when I try to read it horizontally, top to bottom, left to right. But then . . . . I may not be irritating this inscription but it sure is irritating me.
