Draw Mohammed Day
I can’t draw a straight line with a ruler. Luckily, other people have drawn Mohammed, many of them Muslims. Here’s a drawing of Mohammed from an illustrated manuscript of Al Beruni’s (Abū Rayhān Muhammad ibn Ahmad Bīrūnī) The Remaining Signs of Past Centuries. The manuscript is now in the Bibliotheque Nationale, Paris (Manuscrits Arabe 1489 fol. 5v, 17th century).

Drawing Mohammed has not been in all places and at all times blasphemous even among Muslims. Here we have a picture of Mohammed preaching to some people. I find the idea of anyone preaching unsupportable nonsense to others a blasphemy against reason. That sentiment is not limited to Islamic preachers. It’s just that Islam is the flavor of the day. But I am not calling for the murder of any of these blasphemers nor do I have plans to do them any harm myself. That would be immoral.
Via Mohammed Image Archive where the drawing impaired can find many other abnormally interesting examples.
