Latest ZA Is Out
The latest Zeitschrift für Assyriologie und vorderasiatische Archäologie (Dec. 2011, 101:2) is available to those with a subscription or a good library. The first two pieces are homage to Rykle Borker by Stefan Maul. In addition to these pieces there are several interesting papers.
- Pascal Attinger, “Les pronoms personnels indépendants de la 1re et de la 2e singulier en Sumérien,” 173-190
- Massimo Maiocchi, “A Hurrian Administrative Tablet from Third Millennium Urkesh,” 191-203
- Gabriella Spada, “A Handbook from the Eduba'a: An Old Babylonian Collection of Model Contracts,” 204-245
- Jeremiah Peterson, “The Personal Name Lists in the Scribal Curriculum of Old Babylonian Nippur: an Overview,” 246-273
- Uri Gabbay and Sam Mirelman, “Two Summary Tablets of Bala Compositions with Performative Indications from Late-Babylonian Ur,” 274-293
- Matthew T. Rutz, “Threads for Esagil-kīn-apli, The Medical Diagnostic-Prognostic Series in Middle Babylonian Nippur,” 294-308
Of these, I'll likely read the last one first.
