It’s All Turkish Archaeology To Me

Chuck Jones reports that back issues of several open access Turkish archaeological journals are now available.

This is good news for those who are not Turkish impaired. As one of the handicapped, I’m not sure what to do with this important announcement. Does this mean I now must learn Turkish? At least the few papers I sampled have pictures and drawings. But then, they wouldn’t be archaeology papers without them.

  1. Thanks for these links. If there is something you must read & if it’s only a few pages, I can translate it for you.

  2. Aydin, thanks for the offer. Right now, I don’t think there is anything I need but not being able to read even the titles does introduce an element of uncertainty. Most of this literature isn’t taken up in other scholarly discussion. That may well be too bad.
